Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

LOGOS Modular Systems LLC (“LOGOS”, “we”, “us”) runs logosmodular.com and the LOGOS licensing service. This policy explains what personal information we collect through them, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It does not cover the LOGOS programs’ handling of your engineering data, which never reaches us (see below).

Information we collect

  • Account and order information — name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, and order history, when you create an account or buy from us.
  • Payment information — card and bank payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as card brand and last four digits); we never see or store full card or bank account numbers.
  • Licence information — your licence keys, seat types and terms, and, for each activated seat, the request code generated by the LOGOS program. A request code contains a one-way fingerprint of the computer’s hardware; it does not contain the computer’s name, user names, files, or any engineering data.
  • Messages you send — what you write in the contact form, a bug report, or a feature request, and any files or logs you choose to attach.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar data recorded in ordinary server logs and by cookies (see Cookies).

What the LOGOS programs send

LOGOS does not contact us on its own. A PC is activated with a request code that you paste into My Account (or email to us); the code holds the licence key and a one-way fingerprint of the PC, which we keep with your licence. Beyond that, nothing is sent unless a user chooses to send a bug report, feature request, or crash report. Models, plans, requirements, risks, and pool files stay on your own computers and storage, and are never sent to us. Your IT department can switch the in-program reporting off by group policy.

How we use information

  • To process orders, issue and activate licences, deliver the software, and provide support.
  • To answer your messages and fix the problems you report.
  • To send service messages such as receipts, licence keys, and renewal reminders. We send marketing email only if you ask for it, and every such email lets you stop.
  • To keep the site and licensing service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep records required by tax and accounting law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that limit their use of it: our web host (Hostinger), our store software (WooCommerce), our payment processor (Stripe), our email and cloud provider (Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, which runs the licensing service), and our accountants and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work — to keep you signed in and to remember your cart — and may use analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the shop and My Account need the essential ones.

How long we keep it

Order, licence, and invoice records are kept for as long as your licence is active and then for the period tax and accounting law requires (generally seven years). Messages and bug reports are kept while they are useful for support and improving the software. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

Security

The site and licensing service use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Licence signing keys are held in a hardware-backed key vault, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you give us and will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your information.

Your choices and rights

You can see and update your account details in My Account. You can also ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to give you a copy, and to stop any marketing. Depending on where you live (for example, Colorado, California, and other U.S. states, or the EU and UK), you may have further rights under local law; we honour these requests wherever we reasonably can. We will not treat you differently for using them. Write to support@logosmodular.com; we may need to confirm your identity first. Some records must be kept by law even after a deletion request.

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.

Children

The site and software are for businesses and professionals. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell customers by email of any significant change. Questions or requests: LOGOS Modular Systems LLC, Denver, Colorado — support@logosmodular.com.
